DigitalOcean
Introduction
DigitalOcean provides cloud hosting services to business entities. These services include applications that run parallel across multiple servers, allowing customers to scale their businesses without compromising performance.
Setup
DigitalOcean applications can log in to Papertrail using a DigitalOcean add-on or a standard Papertrail account.
The DigitalOcean add-on is a one-step installation that relies on the same payment method and application access as the application. This option is recommended when all log-generating applications are hosted on DigitalOcean or when other aspects of DigitalOcean add-ons are desirable.
The standalone Papertrail account receives logs from DigitalOcean applications, as well as other sources. This option is recommended when you have several log-generating services that are not hosted on DigitalOcean.
Forwarding application runtime logs

Log collection and retention time
To adjust the log collection and retention time settings, log in to your DigitalOcean account and navigate to the account billing page for instructions.
